For what its worth, of the small chippers the greenmech safetrak is probably the best in terms of price and performance.

 

Apart from that, a huge US built drum chipper on a heavy duty steel tracked chassis would be my choice.

Probably. They're all much of a muchness. I like a BIG infeed system, and the greenmech comes closest to that.

greenmech do seem popular with the railway guys. do they still come with the adjustable height tracks? i thought hse were trying to stop those for some reason.

No tractor is not independent Arborcut just sell the trade in machines. Arborcut are Jensen main dealers also called Redwood in Bordon Hampshire
