Ocean polyester is good stuff. I'm sceptical about the eye to eye stuff due to price for straters but also once you got one length you can only adjust by adding wraps/braids.

 

If you buy 1.5m of the stuff you can get the knot you want and then make micro adjustments.

MY OP E2E VT slips all the time. ANd glazes up by blaze too. I have some lengths too so I'm going to make a shorter one. I wonder if OP is just not flexible enough?

I'm inclined to agree there, it either slips or binds. Once you've tried AP you'll never go back!

settled in? i know what you mean, but it sounds like an OAP moving to a new retirement home. Poor luv.
