have been on to the dealer the whole time but they are being a bit slow helping and also are a bit stumped??!!!

i think the soldering is ok? no expert but wires are on and cant be pulled off so iam assuming thats all good.

Hey Carlos, is there an "indicator" light on the sensor? Try another sensor and see if you get an light to show that the gap is good.

 

If you have a flashing red, you are getting voltage out of the tractor, but it is not sensing rotation. What are the two dials in the box set at too?

hi pete

the boss rang greenmech in the uk and spoke to a technician who had also been contacted by our local dealer and turns out they have sent us the wrong proximity switch!!!!!

so will try again when we recieve the new one.

the boss had a look and found that the wires going into the original box had a dodgy connection( as pete b suggested) so lot of hassle and parts etc for somthing simple, bit embarrasing really but hopefully its sorted now.
