Hi Nick hope you dont mind me asking but whats the most lose m3 or solidcube you have got on your lorry if you have had to dome the tops to get the weight?

i've done 2 loads to south wales today of birch/alder/oak that was cut a year ago... had 4 x 2.4m bays on.. loaded to top of pins and above [wasnt too worried about height as no low bridges on route] and most i had on was 23ton.... did load ash/hornbeam in 3m lengths the other day so only got 3 bays on but loaded to top of pins and that weighed 26 ton... even though the overall load was 0.6m shorter than other 2 obviously lot heavier as its fresh felled...

cheers nick we had some year old chestnut 2m lenght 5 bays stacked high acheive same sort of weight 23-24tone on a unit that can carry up to 26 tonnes had a load of larch 2.3m length the other year stacked high on a unit that could carry up to 29tonne and only got 24tonne had been cut for 3 months and dried out a bit as it was summer.

thanks Nick buying in cordwood i meant and sorry to anyone who has interpreted it wrong.

 

whats your post code and i'll give you a price for a load.. i no i quoted you for haulage before but that was from guildford which is quite way from me in wrong direction.. i have wood on M4... took 2 loads yesterday to south wales.
