aye heard some where of a guy doing some work on beech trees on o m.o.d range somewhere useing explosives to blow the tops out to get a natural look

 

 

 

Seen them on the telly using the explosive technique on big pines in the Caledonian Forest, but that was to get the water and fungi into the wood, not for cosmetic purposes. Fun though: 'What do you use - Stihl, Husky?'

ha a wish c4 that would be nice dont think the boss got insurance to cover that though ha lol.

 

aye was'nt sure what they used the c4 for only heard part of a conversation sounds cool would like to see how it turned out

 

in the pics aye was using a husky 181se in mod green ex army brilliant old saw it had been in there stores for years hardly used. usully use sthil 361 but it was in for a service boss just bought a new toy sthil 441 pick it up on monday:thumbup1:
