Which Phone

Apologies if this thread has been done before and I just didn't spot it. My phone is due for upgrade and I was wondering what is the smartphone of choice in the industry. I currently use a Blackberry, which I am happy with, but wondered if there was a more forester-friendly smartphone which would replace it.

i have enjoyed using an iphone, so would reccomend it. It does get very wet in the pocket of my chainsaw trousers though, and they will overheat if you use leave them in the sun.

However its the only smartphone ive really used to be fair. I just like the option of browsing the net/apps/email etc on the go.... which is something they all offer nowadays.

Blackberry have a tough model out i think, might be worth a look?

My 2pence.

I'd go for either an iphone or samsung galaxy. I prefer the iphone, but if i was in the market again my choice would probably be dictated by my usage. ie....i spend £45 a month on my phone, so going for a £45 monthly tariff means I qualify for a free iphone. If i was in the £20 a month bracket, or pay as you go, getting an iphone would mean having to cough up a couple hundred quid for the handset most likely, so would probably go with the option of a free samsung instead

This week Blackberry announced it will be dropping out of the consumer end of the smart phone business here in the States, translation we surrender and what are your terms!

I also heard that 1/2 of all households now own,use Apple products in the USA as well. You could continue to use Blackberry products, however I believe they have lost their competive edge some time ago, and will not catch up with Apple, IMO .

Good hunting.
