Thanks for all the imput, i will book in and see my own Doc who understands me a bit better, what i didn't say was the Doc who i had seen was not my normal Doc and that he was a she, but what was worse was that the night B4, my daughter who does gymnastics, was showing off her 6 pack so when i was asked to show my party pack i nipped out of the room picked up a marker pen and drew an eight pack on my belly, as a joke, when i sore the lady Doc the next day and took my shirt off my eight pack was still there!!. The Doc didn't say anything about my eight pack apart from my blood pressure was a bit high and that i could do with loosing a bit of weight.I don't box anymore and my own Doc knows me well, he's a good customer, thanks guys.

What's the optician going to do, give you new glasses?!

Go to a&e or see a gp, you need to get referred to an opthamologist, there will be one on call at a&e or your gp can give you an emergency referral.

Good opticians do far more than just test your vision and supply glasses.

They will test the pressure within your eye ball and check other things, brain tumours and HT can be discovered by a good optician.
