Mini Forwarders For Sale?

Worth trying, but my local RDPE fund will not fund anything with wheels, but that's OK as I was after a tracked skidder.

The Bison looks good, especially if you can tow it behind a pick up. What's its max load?

I looked at the Vimek version, but heard bad things about the longevity of the crane and the driven front wheels gave more than expected ground damage in the FC trials.

Was it this FC trial by any chance? http://www.forestry.gov.uk/pdf/ODW712a.pdf/$FILE/ODW712a.pdf

Here's a nice page showing all the forwarders trials by the FC: http://www.forestry.gov.uk/fr/INFD-7SUDZR

Cheers for the link on the trials, more reading whilst I continue to save.

The bison looks likes it'll go behind a pick up-

If money was no option I'd go for a novotny purpose built. Not that low an impact, but a 5 ton load capacity and sub 2 metre width gives good access and fewer trips. Just need the spare £100K!! Off to the lottery tickets again

Link didn't quite go right!, click the dollykana link on the right.

Yeah, it's a framed webpage. Here's the right one: TAPIO

Just look at that towing setup. Need a bucket to catch the drool

Hu rah! :BoomSmilie_anim:

Oh, and here's the spec sheet, in English: http://www.kranmanforest.com/BisonBroschyrEngNP.pdf

Not sure about the steering wheel being an optional extra though. Will have to get the full price with all the necessary trimmings tomorrow.

That looks ace, but I'd be doubtful you'd get away with towing it like that in the UK for very long
