Ok, 6 hours in 120 cm deepsnow and -2 celsius with me and my 3 orange fellows.

550xp was out of the box with 13" bar and was a little bit tricky to tune in. After first tree down I run the saw full throttle in the stump for 3 minutes then it was tuned in.

Power is like a 357!

545 became my favorite of the day, power is enough if you don't need the best.

560xp with 15" bar is a powerhouse and I agree it feels like a 70cc.

Feel free to ask me more about the saws.

Hi kenny, If you are not doing large trees everyday is the 550 the better option ? Had both saws in my hand today and the 560 felt a good deal heavier and obviously costlier. :001_smile:

Onesaw option I would go for the 550.

borntotrot did the same with them both on wednesday at Thainstone and i would agree with you on that one i was very suprised in the differance in weight.

Hi NI, yeah i knew the 560 would be heavier but as you say there seemed to be quite a big difference imo. If we get a few more 550 reviews on here i think i would plump for that rather than the 560. Death knell of the 346 not far off me thinks. :001_smile:

If the 550 plays up like my 560 has then I think the 346 will be sought after . Mine has the "spud tune " and is nothing short of awesom ! Still waiting on my 560 as it went back to my dealer for stopping in the cut and hard starting from warm .
