Haix Gold?

Anyone been using the Haix Airpower Gold boots?

 

I had the predecessor which were super comfy but attracted rain clouds. Also the sole was too soft and wearing spikes was agony.

The new ones are Goretex lined and apparently have a stiffer sole.

 

Anyone know?

Hi mate, i have a pair and they are some of the comfiest boots iv ever worn. The biggest selling point for me was the goretex lining. Iv got a pair of Distel gecko aluminium spikes and iv never had any pain from them. Well worth the money i think. Im in mountain rescue and if i get a call out i dont bother changing my boots, just keep them on and go.

i had a pair but they didnt last very long befor all the inner material moved down to the toe of the boot, which was relly uncomfy, i went back to hiax protector pro's

Had exactly the same with 2 pairs of protector pros, where the inner material bunches up behind the toe cap

First pair was 3-4 months and the second pair started after about 6 months and slowly got worse to the point I had to take the insole out to get my feet in
