Oh and if anyone can recommend a good source for logging chains, I need a 2m plus one, current one isn't long enough!

 

Clarks forestry is on here to the right of the screen , they do all sorts to your spec. Very pleasant people to deal with aswell. :001_smile:

Looking in this weeks Waitrose Weekend free paper, there's an article about raising money for horse logging apprenticeships.

Apparently a 3 year apprenticeship costs £30,000

The British Horse loggers Charitable Trust are running a raffle to raise funds and the Morgan Motor Company are offering a prize of a three wheeler racing car.

Thanks TL, I will take a look.

 

I can't change much in the way of shoes at the moment as her 'other life' is as a competition pony. Perhaps in a few years time! My wood is pretty flat and reasonably well drained.
