Just wondered if anybody had any experience of the hybrid elm's available resistant to Dutch elm disease? All elm tree's around get wipe'd out with it and if these hybrids are worth planting?

I bought and planted some about four years ago that were recommended to me from Barchams, I will dig out the invoice and let you know what they were!

Memory like a seive. Trees are always worth planting :001_smile:

Yeah we planted a few Princeton Elms a few years back - doing well so far altho only 2m high so no proof of resistance / tolerance altho they are literally guaranteed to be from the nursery (not barchams - can't remember who) and not cheap; circa £40/whip from memory.
