A couple of pics from the camera job at Loch of the Lowes.

 

Well the job went well in the end, the camera guy had been on the ropes before so it was pretty easy to get him up the tree. Ladder up to first branch then prussic bit by bit into the crown, with another climber in the tree for support.

 

The tree in question had barbed wire around the stem in order to deter egg theives. This led to the use of the ladder (which was a little tricky to transport over the loch in a canoe!). The tree also had a sheet of metal nailed around it to prevent pine martens from climbing up and stealing eggs.

 

Only a couple of pics as I was quite busy on the ground but there you go.
