Reminds me of the 80s cock up Honda had with some of their V4 bike engines . They were dubbed with the tag of having the cam shafts made by Cadburys ! ! They lasted a few thousand miles then were shot . They soon woke up and over engineered the next generation with proper heat treated cam shafts that were gear driven as apposed to chain driven . VFR 750 30, RC45 etc etc .:thumbup:

 

i loved the 80s,the music,the films,the big hair,but most of all group b rally cars..............:thumbup:

 

ps,and the heavy weight boxing era

Hey yea, stuff an that ! All my ground saw are Husqvarna. From my spud tuned 346 up to my 3120 and every thing in between . But yea group 1 rally cars , superb ! Was a sports bike man myself . Last bike I had was a 929cc year 200 blade . Bonkers power to weight . 152 BHP at the crank and weight 4/5ths of not much :lol:

Yeah agreed , heavyweight boxing had boxers then , and those rally cars ! i had the peugot T16 was it ? on my bedroom wall . Think if i remember right they could out accelerate a formula 1 car. Back to the 261 , got a loan of my mates repaired one for tomorrow , he may get it back in a tesco bag :laugh1:
