stitching advice

just wondering if anyone can give some advice on stitching rope,

I want to make a rope guide, and want to 'grizzly' splice one piece of 10mm prussic cord together to make the eye, (don't worry the stitching won't be load bearing).

Will put some pics up once I've made it just need to know how to get it started

cheers:001_smile:

Just out of curiosity Marcus, why a Grizzly stitched splice, instead of a conventional?

I'm sure one of the Kiwi lads will be along later this evening to tell you how anyway.

Rough as guts, they are....:001_tongue:

Hi Mark, hopefully this pic will explain,

I'm going to stitch the two touching legs together leaving the eye then tying my prusic and pulley round the two legs.

so it'll work more like a pulley saver than a rope guide.

Gotcha.

Put a pic up when you've done it mate.

Beyond the curve, mind.

We'll all be Rope-Wrenching on SRT in a couple of weeks....
