I have a defender 90 on a post 97 licence. Is it right I can't have a trailer that weighs over 750kg loaded? I have looked at the ifor williams p range. How many logs would I get on before I am over weight?

Has to be an "unbraked" 750kg gross weight, meaning including the weight of the trailer.

the logs and weight you'll have to work out yourself, to many variables

so basically the trailer and everything on it have to come under 750 kg?

We reckon on one bulk bag of split logs. So around or under 1m3 of split timber including the weight of the trailer and you are around 750kg. all very round figures but there are so many variables.

ok cheers, would there be any problems with having the back of the pickup full as well?

I will probably have to do it eventually, need a bit of soft cash first though.

I hear that! I'm supposed be saving for my 30/31 but something keeps cropping up and eating my cash! Latest was new quarter chassis! Ouch:thumbdown:

I not sure - I think as long as it isn't over the vehicle payload or bringing the vehicle over 3.5t gross loaded and then the trailer would be another 750kg
