Hi Mark,

I joined twitter about a month ago and TBH it's a pretty useful platform for free advertising.

I'm still finding my way round it but I have it linked to my facebook page, my blog and website.

If your customers tweet, and say how fantastic you are, you'd be surprised how far that can spread and all for free.

I use twitter as a broadcasting tool to distribute content from my blog mostly - I think itas better for communicating with existing customers more than gaining new (just my opinion though).

I have started using Twitter a fair bit now, for personal use and I am finding it a great way of communicating with like minded farmers I would have never of spoken with before. I am going to set up a twitter account for my firewood business soon.

I have tried twittering and cannot get on with it at all, find it a loathesome development... my sister loves it... @hamlikes.... WTFlip....?!?! and why on earth do we need another bastardisation of the English language...? #notputtingspacesinphrases .... I don't even know what these things MEAN...?!?!?! :blushing::laugh1:
