Ash logs

Hi

Might seem like an odd request But does anybody local to Leicester have any Ash or sycamore logs that have bee drying for some time

I have a customer who wants a bread board making from a 14 ins diam light wood.All the stuff i have is too damp and i have tried to explain that with it being end grain it will split easily but that is what she wants

So can anybody help,needs to be drt abiut 14 ins diam and with the bark on#

Won't it just fall to bits or warp? Interesting idea I must say. Might try it myself.

I'm sure it will warp and crack and iv'e explained that to the customer

I can sort the warping out but she likes the idea of the cracks

could be hard work

I would use syc I think as its supposed to have natural antiseptics built in or some such.
