i really like this idea, now that times are changing a lot, most of my customers do want to save money and do their bit for the environment, i couldnt use this on every job as it would take forever, and if i have a busy work load then time is money, but for the right job it would be great.

Certainly does... i can see how it would be great for separating the firewood and the branches, but would the product be saleable with the mulched branches included?

With those net bags it would be a great way to dry out the wood pre-stacked ready to sell or even to load into the truck.

Ithink the idea is all the twigs and everything get chopped into the bag. The bags are stacked to dry, and when ready, the whole bag is tossed into the Boiler. It would be realatively simple to have a small trommel screen if you wanted to seperate out the twigs.

I see it as a great tool for jobs where the client wants to keep the arisings. You just tell them you will cut EVERYTHING to firewood for them...
