SJ problem

Just a thought but if using 13mm rope then there is obviously a lot more rope to grip in the device, at 11.7mm with maybe a bit of wear on the cam it is at its limit?

I should stop thinking i think lol

 

Well that's what I'm thinking my cam doesn't look worn but it could be I just can't see it. I'd like to compare it to a new cam to see the difference

Looks like quite a bit of wear but are the cams the same in the earlier spiders?

If the body is wearing then thats a bit of a worry.

About 4 months or so,The first cam's wear out quickly, plus using dirty ropes.

Try a new cam,

 

I now know what the problem was...Always check which new cam you are putting back in..
