Knarlyoak, if i may assist...

 

When trying to evaluate a given species to work toward an identity the first thing to concern us is wether or not it is pored, gilled, maze like or smooth.

 

If this basic principal is applied you would eliminate laetiporus sulphureus from deductions, because it is pored.

Yes Hama, your wise words make sense, but the real question is will my sieve like brain retain this information!

 

well if you cant retain the most basic of identification skills I guess we will just have to be around when you ask for a shot to be Identified instead!:lol:
