Thanks!

What's the testing or certification required to sell in NZ? The equivalent to our CE marking? And how would I go about getting type approval or whatever it is...?

Simon, would you need certification? Just thinking that the widget is a device to assist with climbing as opposed to a piece of PPE, so it may be simple.

It must be borderline... although in it's principal application it will not be for life support, I think that may be limiting, if it's certified then it leaves users free to experiment with it and, if they find it can be used as life support then it can be LOLER'd with the rest of it and all done properly... I'm always wary of something which states 'Not PPE' on it anywhere in my rig....

Most of your hitch cord will be "not rated for ppe" bro!

Nz normally based most of its regs on overseas equivalents due to the small amount of people here.

As soon as you get the proto ready bro, we can get some promo vid shot for sure!

No idea now bro, Africa trip has kinda flipped my plans upside down.

Virtually everything is rated bro just not many hitch cords, if any for ppe.

Is OP eye to eye rated?

Let us know when you're back, we'll hook up.

Ben, and everyone else who has done it since I last mentioned it, thanks for doing the survey.

Oh, and I've just had to shell out 25 quid because apparently 'Wow! You have a popular survey. But with basic membership you can only view the first 100 responses. Send money now to see the rest!'

Company is now officially incorporated and showing on the register.

So I am now the managing director of something.... at the moment that something is nothing but onward and upward.

Also started my VAT registration application, but need a bank account, so that is a job for next week....

Cor, it's a lot of work! :001_tongue:
