can any one tell me if my ms326 will take a 24" bar, my m8 dosnt think it will but it will take a bigger bar than that won't it ??:confused1:

 

You mean MS362? And your m8 is right it wont take anything bigger than 20 inch bar.

I've been running an MS361 (earlier generation) with a 25" bar (3/8" full chisel chain). You have to nurse it a little, but it'll get the job done.

Wouldn't plan to use this combination exclusively, though.

I reckon its more to do with your ability to use the saw, than the saws ability to carry this bar.

 

In the wrong hands the saw would not last long methinks.
