I hope it gets thrown out, it has serious implications that threaten the Internet.

 

Hosting your domain in a non US location wont bypass it, because unfortunately, America has all the guns and money & countries such as the UK being 'Americas bitch' have to toe the line.

 

Its a classic case of governing with a big stick & getting the wrong end of it, as governments only listen to companies such as Microsoft, Sony etc and the small guy has to fall in line & in some cases a perfectly legitimate web site could fall foul of SOPA.

 

I think SOPA is just going to line the pockets of the lawyers, as if they dont have enough already.

 

No doubt, the Internet will also come up with the means to bypass it!
