I need to get a new metal cutting blade for my brushcutter, i have been looking on ebay and there are a few unbranded blades that are a lot cheaper then say a STIHL or Oregon one. I just wanted to ask if anyone here had any experience with one of these cheaper blades, if so are they any good? or is it a matter of buy cheap buy twice.

These cheaper "far eastern" sourced blades from my experience use very poor quality steel. They blunt quicker and easier, as well damage easier which can result in tips/corners breaking off on impact with a solid object. They are also poorly balanced and distort easily making the balance poorer.
