Tachyon is better than Poison Ivy as it just seems to feed better on ascents. Although i did have a bash on my low stretch SRT line which performed better than both of them. Its got the exact same CE numbers which i checked with my LOLER guy who said its fine to use as a normal climb line. But i do mainly keep it for the Rope Wrench system.

 

All in all its what you prefer, smaller diameter ropes will obviously feed better than a larger diameter rope. But a stiffer built line may feed better than a softly built line, (beal vs ivy).
