If I didn't already have one I'd be bidding on this, good price at the minute too. It does not compare with the 088s, it only revs out at 8500rpm flat out, but the torque is incredible, and with 24" it'll stop for nothing. My mates 090 cut length ways down a large nail in timber and apaRt from losing a couple of cutters you'd never know it had hit anything. Awesome saws, though not for the weak or faint hearted. Will realign the vertebrae in your spine, once it's shaken them out of line first, a real old skool saw, and this is the girlie AV model!! Nice price of chainsaw history.

anyone know what happed to this, I watched it, thought I might have a punt, for a possible milling reaplacement for my 880 if it ever dies, as spares as quite cheap for the 090's (090 cylinder ~60quid, 880 ~400) but the bids went up too high for me, but now I see it went for 200quid, other bids cancelled due to 'listing error'

Sold for £200. If that was as described then someone good a very very good bargain. Worth shed loads more than that.

No it sold for a lot more if you look at your other items you were watching that have ended you will see it happens with most items

I was watching it too, £200 was the starting price and it was making about £350 on sunday morning from memory. I think they pulled the auction.
