Telegraph poles in central Scotland?

I trying to find around ten telegraph poles to build a wood store with. I used to get them from the BT depot in Kirkcaldy, but due to their creosote content, they can no longer sell them.

 

Is there anywhere in Central Scotland I can buy them?

You could try Thomas Baird at Slamannan or David MacKenzie at Auchenheath, Lanark.

Baird has lots of them.

 

Have you tried the bt depot at craigshill, Livingston bt were still selling them from there last year.

I will call the Livingston depot tomorrow. Baird's aren't much further away. I will compare prices. What is the going rate fir a pole these days. I was getting them free initially from BT, then £5 a pole.

could do with 10 - 15 myself , jist north of Dundee if anyone knows someone local..

I paid £25 a pole 2 year ago for a 100 of them for a cattle pen. Came all the way from Grimsby to Highlands.
