Fransgard 6000 advice?

I have been offered a fransgard 6000 winch with a faulty clutch,

Can anyone tell me the spec of the winch ie. strength of pull,Hp required and approximate model age, secondly how hard replacing the clutch is and if spares are available

My old man had a new Or relined clutch on his fransguard cost about £200 I think? That might of been with some extras as well.

osbournes at ower romsey for spares great winch i think 50hp would be fine i did run mine on a county 754, 75hp great set up

osbournes will send one with the clutch no problems

A T Osbornes will do you a spare clutch. The winch should pull 6T as i have a 6500 which is 6.5t pull. I've not changed the clutch but done most of the other bits drive shaft chain drive etc etc and it was all pritty easy so it shouldn't be too hard.
