He's way out in his thinking..... doing it with a grey Fergie tractor... disaster waiting to happen! He should be using a green Claas one.

 

Seriously though, I reckon he should pull it upright with the tractor and just heel it back in. Job's a goodun. :001_rolleyes:

2 winches would be ideal, and try to stand it up before putting a cut in.

 

If he does it, it will probably go fine. Home owners that only ever tackle one or two tricky trees normally do ok, just by the law of averages. If they tried to make a living out of it they would soon come unstuck.
