good luck with the surgery today stevie. try and drink plenty when you come round, its surprising how a little bit of fasting and surgery can dry you out, plus it will help flush the anaesetic out your system, especially after 2 ops so close together.

 

Cool they actually allow you to drink in Scottish Hospitals:thumbup: Have one on me Mr Blair. Hope all is going well.

you'll have to post an after shot mate to show off the good work of the NHS! dont worry about the oldies queue jumping, one day it'll be us lot with the busted hips! good luck with it all mate and all the best for a quick recovery!

Hi guys, op went well, cleaned out and gaused together.

Forgot to say, wound still not clean, back to theatre on satarday, so still in.

Right. The best game you can play is the "see if they believe you" game. Do NOT do this to important people, like doctors, or surgeons. But everyone else try and make up the most fabulous way to injure yourself possible. My favourites were

 

I was wrestling this bear and....

She was a lot of woman...

I fell off Blackpool tower, good job that mattress broke my fall really...

A really hard bit of turkey just broke my jaw...
