Very atmospheric photo, love it.

Is it HDR as there looks to be plenty of detail in the darks and lights.

No HDR ...

 

Although I did use a bit of Lightroom to work on the black, shadow, highlights and whites.

For you then, until you return, I'll try to keep the stream of memories refreshed.

 

Aside from that I simply love the redwood forest, I try to leave each trip with enough images to share maybe a new one every other day or so on FB or forums.

One more of the Big One ... widest trunk in Jedediah Smith redwoods.

 

Hoping to get back down again in the next couple of weeks weather permitting.

Ah ... 4 more hours spent on this file, and seems I finally got a 20 x 30 size I can really enjoy and replace the 16 x 20 (inches)
