Turkey curry is good. Proper one done from scratch - not a jar of curry sauce! Last year we had cold turkey with gammon and stuff on boxing day, then just bagged up the left over turkey and chucked it in the freezer. At Easter we got the turkey out and made a curry. Spot on it was, and it was made all the better by not being too soon after Christmas.

I have just made the stock out of the carcass......will probably eat the leftovers cold wit other cold meats for a few days, and in my sarnies for work. Yummy yummy.

give it to the dog :001_tt2:

big problem - dog gas:sneaky2:

Last year the game keeper got some turkey chicks in to fatten up for us all but mine was so skinny it flew on top of his cottage roof , so he shot it (didn't tell my wife) but this year we had a big one, well so fat it was like a fat lady trying to fit into a size 8 oven:001_tt2:

We had so much left over the dogs bloated on it - big problem with visiters, dog letting of spicy gas and bum surfing around the carpet:thumbup:

The youger dog has always bum surfed, even after worming. His party piece is when we have visitors sipping tea, he will bum surf into the room with a big smile and surf out the next door.

The older dog is real 'butch' through hedges on shoot days but the younger dog is a wimp and goes around the back of the hedge to get the bird as it comes out.

Down to the last few pieces of turkey for the dogs so the dog-gas level should drop - glad nobody smokes:lol:
