cant use it left handed, disadvantage.

 

you can.... sort of. i use it left handed for small adjustments when on a limb whilst working with the rope on the left. they should bring out a left handed version though. perhaps it would cost too much to manufacture as only a few units would be sold

Hi there. I have the SJ1 and I was. Wondering what the replaceable pin does. I am soon to replace my one. As I run on 11mm rope and it has warn the body out around the base of the device. It seems a shame that such an expensive device where so easily. I've a full-time tree surgeon and I have only had the SJ for a year. I do love the device works properly.
