Joe,

Just wondering what the difference are between the older version and the 2.1 are?

Ps think my problem is putting the old cam back in instead of the new one..possibly :blushing:

So, every new iteration of Spiderjack operates on exactly the same principle, and almost all of the parts are completely interchangeable. I'm currently climbing on a miscegenated mongrel of an SJ, with parts from the SJ1, SJ2 and the body from the SJ2.1... plus the new mods...

SJ2 went black, and replaced the old four-bolt system with the new side-plate held in by just two bolts.

SJ2.1 added the replaceable pin, low down on the device... the top SJ in the pic above is an SJ2.1, you can see the pin at the bottom left of the device.

ive just ordered a spiderjack form honey brothers along with a 65m length of blaze rope does this run well in the spiderjack? it seemed to run well in the lockjack, do you know when the mods become avaliable that velcro piece looks a pain for change overs !

I've used blaze on my SJ and it worked nice but I'm just about to change to velocity for something different.gd luck with testing.u must be climbing some monsters to warrant a 65m or earning too much money
