Thought I'd share some pics if a little job I've been doing over the last few weekends. Involves removing ash coppice from a Victorian cemetery as part on a conservation programme. Some of the frees are very tight up against the headstones and we can't knock any of them over. Dropped about 120 trees with no damage, touch wood. I know I shouldn't but we found using our MS200t's on the ground was easier when trying to get close in to the stools to fell.

Cleaned up the village graveyard yrs ago during the foot& mouth for something to do.

First look for fresh flowers on graves, families get a bit upset. Had one with a Angel on (child) plus fresh flowers, had to drop either side about 12 trees. Ended up breaking one cross but went well otherwise.

The whole area was totally overgrown but I had a lot of objections at first untill they saw how good it looked afterwards. Now I go back and clean other areas, my son helped and became well involved by uncovering ivy covered graves to read the often sad stories of mothers dying young etc.

Well done:thumbup1:

Tidy looking job. I'd be no good in there,to easily distracted, can't help but read head stones. Bet there's some interesting ones amongst those they look pretty old.

There's one about a child who came down in a hot air ballon and drowned In the Bristol channel. I've got a picture, I'll upload later.
