Well tonight I'm taking a couple of lads out who sub for me, we do it every year, we go for a curry and a few beers and some tree banter and a good laugh. The way I see it is that these lads do good work for me and help me make a living so I try to do something back and it's tax deductible.👍 if you value good lads then it makes them feel valued too.

Does anyone else do this?

Sent from my I pad coz I'm gullible for buying apple products!

I build up a tab at the local pub by delivering logs to them, if we are passing i then drop in with the boys for a drink and food etc. Always reward good work and invoice them when they break stuff!!!! lol

Yeah I tip my boy's every year, this years tip goes like this.......'Look both way's when you cross a busy road'......

Ha,ha. That reminds me of when a taxi driver delivered a Chinese takeaway to my house once, he was a bit late and he came up to the door with a fag in his gob and said " sorry I'm late I've had the runs, I had to stop, here is yer chinky" I took the bag of food gingerly and thanked him, as I was about to close the door he said " no tip?" I replied " don't smoke it's bad for ya" he called me a tight git and left.

Yes, me and a mate who worked together occasionally did this with a few subbys and all our respective wives, nothing mental, just a curry and a few drinks. It oils the wheels and we all had some fun.
