works work at the end of the day.I sub to a company and i leave at 5.30 and get back wen i do. loads of people comute to work if your using your own diesel to get to reading then charge but if its a 1 off why upset a regular income?

Hi hodge, i will have a word with him. No i don't wan't to loose future work from him. He pays me well for the work i do, but he defo works me very hard for it, i get all the big tech job's with very little thanks. what he said to me when i first started is " i'll screw you for every penny i pay" regards western.

 

Tbh it sounds like he was being very upfront from the start so at least you should know what to expect. Although I still wouldn't work for anyone with that attitude regardless about being open about it.

 

Im sure he expects you to up your rates so just have a word with him before you start the job. He might not have the money on the job to up your rates but then it's call if you want the wok or not.
