Iam after a splitter, interested in views about vertical or horizontal, like the look of the woodline wl10 multipla, if anyone has a decent petrol powered splitter, you can call or txt me on 07989432771 - Cheers dan:thumbup1:

Thanks for your input, didn't used to have a problem but then got a 440 stihl and now getting lots more larger timber, the woodline can flip vert or horiz, just stretched on budget a bit and am loathed to get cheap unit as I know I will pay twice in the end !

I have a petrol log splitter going. Run off a 13 hp Honda engin. Vertical split and pushes around 10 tonnes. New ram fitted apart from that the rest is used and used well. Good machine, starts first time and runs on a full tank all day. I reckon that you can split around 1/2 tonne or around 1m3 per hour give or take and also depending on the size of the rounds... I am N. Yorks based....
