Caring nurse...not!

First Aiders are viewed under law as 'Good Samaritans' and so, as long as what they do is recognised practice, are protected from legal action :001_smile:

This is also true here in the States, esp. here in the State of Florida, sometimes it is nothing more than putting a safety vest and directing traffic away from the accident while others attend to the wounded, until paramedics arrive. or grabbing a fire extinguisher to put out a fire or be ready to put one out if need be.:thumbup1:

Thanks for the replies. He's been to the doctors for a check up and seems ok. Bit upset about his bike which is possibly a write off...bent forks, cracked headstock, smashed clocks and various scrapes.

I shall get on to the police in the morning. I checked her insurance online and she is insured so she must be wanting to avoid a claim:thumbdown:

Glad the boy is ok that's what matters, but hope he gets the bike sorted.

There is a whole army of so called nurses dressed the part. But they are actually private firms charging the NHS a fortune to go to peoples homes wash them and clean up. Basically cleaners often with a very bad attitude as we have found in the past. They park across my drive and when asked politely if we can get out they explain they are important and we can wait. Luckily we have a teleporter
