The biggest part of the service is answering the phone. Then you need to get them booked in. Work out a system so that whoever answers the phone can get them booked in. If you call around firewood suppliers you'll find the majority don't answer the phone when you call so if your the one that does you'll pick up the work. This is how we started with wood, fires, stoves, chimney sweeping......etc. 5 years on we have thousands of loyal customers.

Trouble is we cant afford to pick up the phone a 1000 times to sell 150 loads. So if we miss a few calls and got on with work what have we missed. Normally I want bone dry logs 5" long stacked at the bottom of the garden christmas eve.

You are then leaving things to chance.

that's not the answer, it's how you do not deal with calls properly.

contact your local Kendlebell answering service( or similar )

they will take all your information, quality, prices, volume etc.

and only contact you with a sale , they can even take payment for you.

all you do is recieve a text from them, with the order and they charge you a £1.

you will get 1 week free, and then decide from there.

there may be a small

Monthly charge aswell .
