I bought a new pair of hi flex about three weeks ago. I've just got in and taken them off and found a load of clogging material down my leg. it's coming out of the seam on the protective insert.

Is a little bit normal for them? (my first pair of stihls) I've never known it with any other saw trousers.:confused1:

I'm amazed you got ANY straight answers

Thought the very same. Have to agree with some of the comments about strength of material, we have used Stihl Hi-Flex for quite a while now and also feel they do not offer value for money in the lasting stakes but then it seem to be the case for most chain saw trousers, maybe we should have a vote on the best chain saw trousers out there.

So am I!

They're going back to the shop tomorrow, so fingers crossed I get it sorted.

As for a vote,i think it's been done to death in the past!
