Good value chain oil

Our local Husky dealer's prices always used to be great on the Oregon chain oil (£39 inc vat/25l of late) but recently he's not been gettign oregon and the new stuff is working out a fair bit dearer at £35 /20l

 

Might not sound a huge jump but seem to be getting through a fair bit at the mo, think the last drum was my 8th this year.

 

Does anyone have a supplier who can get it down below £1.75/l delivered? We'd even consider 205l at a time if we had to.

i know this isw know help you but a local tractor engineer down out way fill your old 5l cans for 7 pound at a time he is making a profit of that so im sure you will be able to get it

Do you know if any of your local ag dealers have Kramp Agri accounts as their bar oil isnt to bad, just trying some bio oil that worked out at about £2/ltr you can get their oil in 60ltr drums as well

I have a feeling that the current stuff may be via Kramp. It's not bad oil, but everything just keeps creeping up in price. I can remember when the oregon stuff jumped from £26 to £39 overnight

I suppose it depends on the dealership but mine will order me kramp stuff at cost and I just pay the shipping charges, far cheaper than stihl/husky/oregon stuff

Ernest does are doing a branded (good one just cant remember) make of chain oil for £10 for 10litres. And A&G Garden Machinery, Long Melford, are also doing 10litres for a tenner
