GoProHD - HD recording

GoProHD2- HD recording and apparantly far better than the GoProHD

buy from an ebay seller from the states for about 170quid delivered (GoProHD)

Yeah but wait for the added cost of shipping and import tax and you might be just as well to buy in the UK and have it quicker.

I'm sure Ian will be in at some point to sing praise about his GoPro2 :)

I dropped in to the local supplier today to ask the same question. He reckons for a beginner the basic model (960 I think) does what you need. If you're just using it for putting stuff up on youtube etc it'll suffice. If you want to start using it to sell your business or doing really fancy stuff with big screen TVs then go for the GoPro2 with all the hi def. The guy I spoke to reckons to start off cheap, see how much you use it and then if you want to go the whole shebang you only need buy the naked camera upgrade. Now I'm sure I'll get shot down in flames by Ian and Drew
