Hi all, I found this bracket on the base of a mature Oak. It is enormous (2 foot long) and seems to have a dusting of spores around it. It is maroon coloured on top and creamy underneath. There is no obvious stalk therefore I have discounted Ganoderma lucidum but wonder if it may be G. resinaceum? Any help much appreciated.

I have used the fun guy guide but each species can look so damn different at different life stages I can't be sure of what I'm looking at:confused1:
