tough pair of forestry boots?

We often work in snow and wet conditions on rough ground and wore out several of the orange rubber chain boots in six weeks from new. (Stihl) checked them in Germany at the R and D office and said we walked around too much in the woods behind the horses.

We now use some leather/rubber versions from Canada and will check on the brand.

I can spend days / weeks trudging over conifer brash if we are spraying or brashing, it is tough on your boots and they are often under water. Chainsaw wellys can get lost/sucked off your feet in bogs and wet holes. My boots at the moment are Lavoro, they are very comfortable boots, and have been reasonably waterproof in wet weather and snow, (I wear gaiters/waterproofs in very wet conditions.) They were also were cheap, AND Class 3 protection. I recommend them and would buy another pair.
