Decal colour on cheap chinese saw? Help please?

Yeah, Doobin appreciate the sentiment but I bought the saw as a 'sacrificial' item that could be replaced annually if necessary instead of screwing my good saws. Its reasonably powerful and used only for this task, never for the forestry tasks we get.

I'd love to own Stihls etc right through, but don't have the budget unfortunately, and have to try and run as economically as poss.

Sorry bud, that's called a false economy where I come from. Sleepers may be hard on the engine as you say in your later post, but a Stihl will put up with that hard work and all you'll need to do is renew the bar and chain. On a cheap chinese saw, the engine will fail along with the bar and chain.

Ah, chinese safety decals...my friend once owned a Chinese motor bike the safety decal on the tank read as"DO NOT RIDE THIS MOTORCYCLE AFTER CONSUMING WINE". Brilliant. Didn't state if that was red or White though??

Good advice - you can drink spirits and beer though - they don't stain like red wine when you spill them:001_rolleyes::lol::lol:

all that video shows that sthil costing new around 550 pounds and thats putting it cheep is better built than a chines saw putting it expensive say 120 pounds and i would hope that a saw that cost around 4x as much would hold up to more testing abuse if not i would be highly dissapointed it dont meant the chinese saw is not safe to use its just may brake quicker and my not be as good in our line of heavy work like us lot mostly do day in day out i would have tought that if they where not safe to use that they would most likely be a total ban across the uk for selling them
