Looks very similar to a Gano found on one of my clients trees - can you confirm?

the above is correct no significant hollow in the buttressing or rotten wood

its all in the body languages baxter,

 

first up you have a large bark sink revealing a dysfunctional volume that is being degraded.

 

Then the fruit bodies themselves are smooth and decreasing in incremental growth showing that as the wood behind that bark sink degrades less resources are being avaliable, showing a increasingly diminishing resource. (compartmentalisation)

 

Had this been australe it would not be decreasing, but increasing increment IMO:001_smile:
