Is there a difference between that and Skyhuck calling Gary Barlow a muppet?

Yes. One is a discussion that has the potential to impact upon the business practices of a legal entity and the other isn't.

Seems pretty clear cut to me.

Do you feel its ok for everyone to be discussing another companies business on an ope discussion forum? I personally dont...and i expect if some of the contributors to that thread were having their business's discussed in such a manner they wouldnt be none too pleased about it.

This is not what Arbtalks for

SO,

WE CAN ONLY EXPRESS PERSONAL OPINIONS AND COMMENTS THAT YOU APPROVE OF STEVE.??

NEWSCORP AFFILIATION COMING SOON ???????????????????

as said before CW"s marketing and operation is to be envied.

In a nutshell, yes. Because it is Steve's name on the licence for this place, and its him that will be in bother if someone decides to get Solicitors involved.

I totally see your point and i didn't know issues had been raised with the Barlow thread until a few mins ago. The discussion over CW was between fellow firewood merchants and i suppose should have been aired privately.

It's quite simple bob, if you dont approve of the way I run the site then don't visit. Honestly, it's like going into a free restaurant and then complaining about the food with some of you guys.....thankfully a small percentage

Exactly. Anyone that has a problem with that is free to start up their own discussion forum and spend hours and hours arguing about the appropriateness of what others want to say on it!
