Abit off subject but has anyone adjusted the wood stop so it's less of a push upwards to grip the rope? I done this and found I had more control over decent.

Thought about doing this myself,it would improve descent I think, must give it a go,now wheres my alen keys...:001_smile:

I didn't have fun with Velocity, was too thin and too hard i thought. Wouldn't hold properly, and went through the SJ like sh*t off a shovel. Maybe just takes getting used to, but after an hour or so of not enjoying it I went back to my Tachyon.

True,Ill try it out before i buy it

Cheers for all the good replies lads. Just ordered Poison Ivy rope from honey bros but completley forgot to specify I wanted a spliced eye. Looking back at the site though there wasn't an option where you could specify wanting a spliced eye but most of the other ropes you could choose. Sent them an email anyway so hopefully they'll sort it.

Got my rope delivered today. 50 meter hi vee ivy. Looks awsome and feels really nice and doesnt look too thin. Sods law that tomorrows job is a crappy roadside traffic light job. I think it will just have to be fed through my spiderjack as you said, tail first. What happens if you have a double splice?? And that piece of velcro is so sh1te! Keeps coming off.
